La Meneghina – Il tango, a Milano is a project rooted in tradition and reinterpreted through a fresher and more inclusive approach.
A space for those who have been dancing for years and for those discovering tango for the first time, where music, dance and social connection come together in an atmosphere that is less formal and closer to the spirit of the city.
The project takes place at Club Dept 184, the new musical soul of Department 184, a venue born from the transformation of the former Sandvik industrial area and now dedicated to events, music and conviviality.
An intimate and immersive setting inspired by the atmosphere of international underground clubs, where DJ sets, live performances and special events create a shared musical experience.
This is where La Meneghina finds its home: a contemporary milonga, deeply Milanese yet open to the world, bringing the tango of Buenos Aires into dialogue with the energy and culture of today's Milan.
